Terms and Conditions
 

By ordering from Two Wheeled Engineering, either directly or via twowheeledengineering.co.uk, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read them as they contain important information about how your order will be dealt with. In the unlikely event that you have a problem, the terms and conditions also explain how this will be resolved.

These terms & conditions and the use of the Two Wheeled Engineering website are subject to the Laws of England and the jurisdiction of the English Courts. These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 

Definition of Terms

 

Items – Goods offered for sale on the twowheeledengineering.co.uk website

Order – A request to supply items from the twowheeledengineering.co.uk website

Courier – An independent sub-contractor who delivers items

Two Wheeled Engineering – Owner/operator of the twowheeledengineering.co.uk website


Ordering Process


Your online shopping basket displays the prices of items you have ordered and the cost of delivery based on the delivery option chosen (see the Delivery section below).

All prices include VAT at 20%. Your order enters you into a legally binding contract, so please check that all the details are correct before sending. The minimum order value is £10.

We make every effort to ensure that the prices on twowheeledengineering.co.uk are accurate but errors may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the Items in your Order we will contact you as soon as possible using the details you supplied to us. You will then have the option of re-ordering at the correct price or cancelling. If we cannot contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled and refund any payment that you have made.

Two Wheeled Engineering may choose not to trade with certain individuals/organizations. In these cases, the order(s) will be cancelled and any payment will be refunded.


 

Payment

 

• Your order must be paid for in full before delivery using one of the payment methods listed below.

• The following credit/debit cards are accepted:

• Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Link

• We do NOT take cheques of any description

Cash if collecting in person

 

 

Availability


All items are offered subject to availability. We hold large quantities of items but occasionally we may be out of stock of a particular item that you have ordered. If this happens, we will notify you as soon possible with an expected delivery date. You will have the option to accept a part order or cancel your order and receive a full refund.


Delivery

 

1. The cost of delivery will be shown before you finally submit your order.

2. Orders are despatched either by Royal Mail or by Courier. Please make sure that someone will be available to accept  your Items at your specified delivery address.

3. Due to high costs and unreliable delivery, we do not accept international orders at the moment.

4. There may be extra charges for delivery to offshore addresses. This includes places such as the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Islands in Scotland. At the moment, you will need to telephone us to place your order because charges vary considerably.


We will make every effort to deliver within the projected delivery schedules stated on twowheeledengineering.co.uk but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

The trademarks of their respective owners are acknowledged.

 

The content and design of the Two Wheeled Engineering website is copyright and may not be downloaded or copied for any purpose. This includes any images and text used on the site.

 

Privacy and Data Policy

 

Your personal information will not be disclosed to any third party, except to a regulated financial institution for the purpose of authorizing a credit/debit card payment. Your credit/debit card details are transmitted using encrypted communications and will not be stored by us. We will not contact you unless you have given your permission such as when choosing to receive newsletters or special offers by email. Any information

that we collect about you will be handled in accordance with relevant data protection legislation.

Calls may be recorded for training and quality assurance purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please use an alternative method of communication such as email or WhatsApp.


Returning Faulty or Unwanted Items


1. Before returning any items, you must contact us by telephone on 07377 999923 for advice and instructions and to obtain a return number.

2. Any faulty items must be notified to us within 48 hours of receiving them. Items notified outside of these periods will not be considered for credit or replacement.

3. Certain electrical items such as electronic CDI units, relays, lighting regulators and spark plugs cannot be returned.

4.The customer is responsible for all return delivery costs incurred.

5. Remember that courier delivered items must be signed for ‘UNEXAMINED’ as per the instruction label that we affix to our parcels. If you do not do this, the items will be taken to have been received in good condition and no claims for damaged goods can be accepted.

6. You will be responsible for the returned items until they reach us. We therefore recommend that you take out postal or other insurance to cover the items during transit.

7. Under distance selling regulations, you may return for refund or credit items that are 'not wanted'. However, you must notify us within 48 hours and return the items in unused condition for resale. You will be refunded through your original payment method for the value of the goods plus the standard (e.g. Royal Mail 2nd Class) delivery cost as outlined in Government regulations.

 

Responsibilities


Two Wheeled Engineering will use all reasonable skill and care to operate the twowheeledengineering.co.uk website but cannot be held responsible for services that are beyond its control. These include the delivery services provided by the Post Office and other Courier companies, and the internet services provided to our website/online shop by external web hosting and payment authorisation companies.


The customer should also use reasonable skill and care in the selection and use of their purchases. Two Wheeled Engineering cannot be held responsible for any damage or consequential loss resulting from the use of inappropriate parts, tools or fitting techniques. We are always happy to give advice prior to any purchase; please contact us using the methods shown below.

 

Other General Conditions

 

• These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Two Wheeled Engineering and may only be amended in writing. They apply to the exclusion of all other terms or conditions of contract proposed.

• The twowheeledengineering.co.uk website may be changed, suspended or removed at our discretion.

• If you breach these terms and conditions, Two Wheeled Engineering may terminate or suspend your access and use of the twowheeledengineering.co.uk website. This shall not prejudice any of Two Wheeled Engineering's other rights.

• If Two Wheeled Engineering does not enforce any provision of this agreement, this will not be considered a continuing waiver.

• In the event that any part of these terms & conditions is held to be unenforceable, the remainder of the provisions will remain in full force and effect.
